About Bridge Improvers
Develop your bridge with our friendly, interactive, online lessons
We offer a progressive series of eleven modules based on the modern ACOL system of bidding.
Modules consist of ten lessons, each with comprehensive notes; and if you have to miss a week we can record the lesson for you to watch later.
Complete beginners can start with the Introduction to Bridge Course - starting on 29 September 2026.

Pairs who want to play together are welcome, but it's also fine to just come alone.
Relative beginners will usually want to follow the modules sequentially whereas more experienced players may want to pick and choose.
Lessons last 2 hours and are generally comprised of one hour's tuition on zoom followed by an hour of bidding and play on Realbridge.

We also offer a 10 week introduction to bridge course for complete beginners. The next Introductory course is scheduled to start on 29 September 2026 . The first lesson will be a free taster session.
Private Bridge Lessons
For groups of four or more, we offer private bridge lessons at times to suit you. Contact us for more information and prices.
Supervised Play Sessions
Our students are generally keen to practise with help. We now offer supervised play sessions on a Wednesday afternoon twice a month. A teacher is on-hand to answer questions and give advice at any point .
